Metallic Membrane is a kind of thin layered, smooth surfaced porous material with pore size as small as 0.01 micron.
The structure consists of a supporting layer and a working layer, with the former possessing sufficient strength and the latter exhibiting nano-filtration efficiency.
AT&M/CISRI has engaged in the development of metallic membranes since 1960's. It is one of the very few companies with the capability to produce such products. Due to the excellent properties such as high filtration or separation ratio, good permeability, high strength and good regeneration ability of metallic membrane materials, these products have been widely and successfully applied in electronics, nuclear energy, chemical industry, pharmacy, foodstuff, gas separation and precision machinery for gas purification.
